In this lesson, we will learn Descriptive Analytics. We will understand analyses that answer “What happened? ”, including summary metrics, trends, breakdowns, comparisons, KPI monitoring, and dashboard logic through practical examples. ## Lesson objective In this lesson, we will learn Descriptive Analytics. In the previous lesson, we covered KPIs and Performance Metrics. We learned KPI, metric, performance metric, vanity metric, actionable metric, leading and lagging indicator, target, benchmark, KPI tree, and KPI definition. Now we move to one of the most fundamental types of data analytics: Descriptive Analytics.
