Introduction to Predictive Analytics

In this lesson, we will introduce Predictive Analytics. We will learn the analyst-level logic of forecast, prediction, probability, churn risk, demand prediction, and models that answer the question “What may happen? ” ## Lesson objective In this lesson, we will introduce Predictive Analytics. In the previous lesson, we learned Diagnostic Analytics. We saw that Descriptive Analytics answers “what happened? ”, while Diagnostic Analytics answers “why did it happen? ” We explained root cause analysis, drill-down, segmentation, variance analysis, contribution analysis, KPI trees, driver analysis, funnel analysis, and the difference between correlation and causation.
