Logical Functions — IF, AND, OR, and IFS

In this lesson, we will learn logical functions in Excel. We will understand how to use IF, AND, OR, and IFS to perform condition-based calculations, create status fields, and turn decision logic into Excel formulas. ## Lesson objective In this lesson, we will learn logical functions in Excel. In the previous lesson, we learned relative, absolute, and mixed references. We understood how cell references change when formulas are copied, why the sign is used, and how to work with fixed cells. Now we move to condition-based formulas in Excel. In data analytics, we often need decision logic in addition to simple calculations.
