Probability Basics

In this lesson, we will learn the basic concepts of probability. We will understand probability, experiment, outcome, sample space, event, independent and dependent events, conditional probability, and basic probability rules through practical examples. ## Lesson objective In this lesson, we will learn the basics of probability. In the previous lesson, we covered data distribution and shape. We learned histogram, frequency distribution, normal distribution, skewness, kurtosis, outliers, and why data shape matters in statistical analysis. Now we move to probability, which is the foundation of inferential statistics. Probability is a very important concept in statistics.
